Pilot office and coworking prototype

This 100 m² pilot office is conceived as a repeatable workplace within a business centre. With limited daylight reaching the interior, the plan keeps views open between a ten-person workbench, a glazed private office and a meeting room that can accommodate changing uses. Low storage units organise the circulation without closing the shared workspace.

Suspended PET-felt panels give the ceiling a sculptural rhythm, while linear lighting, pale finishes and illuminated oak-veneered shelving bring depth to the room. A slender coffee counter meets a structural column and is supported by transparent glass fins. The supplied photographs show how the workstations, meeting spaces, art and small places to pause are held together by this consistent material and lighting approach.

A contemporary reading

The office is a useful setting for considering how concentration and informal contact can share a small footprint. Its documented mix of a workbench, enclosed rooms and a coffee point connects the everyday plan to the wider question of choice within the workplace.
